Stash is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains our data practices and your rights regarding the information used within the app.

2. Data Collection

We use industry-standard services (Google Drive API, AdMob, RevenueCat) to provide backup and subscription features. Your backup data is stored exclusively in your private Google Drive and is never accessible by us.

3. Analytics Data

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data in order to improve the app experience. This data includes:

• Screen navigation events (e.g., which screens are opened)
• Device type and operating system version (collected automatically by Firebase)

This data:

• Does not include any personally identifiable information
• Is used solely for app improvement and development purposes
• Is not sold or shared with third parties
• Is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy

4. Advertising

Stash uses Google AdMob to display ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases & Subscriptions

Subscription and purchase management is handled by RevenueCat. Purchase history data is used solely to verify and manage your subscription status. We do not store payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for more information.

6. Data Retention

Your notes and files remain on your device and in your Google Drive until you choose to delete them. We do not maintain copies of your personal content on our servers. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Firebase according to Google's data retention policies.

7. Data Security & Liability

While we use industry-standard security practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using Stash, you acknowledge that we are not liable for any unauthorized access or data loss caused by third-party services or device security breaches.

8. Children's Privacy

Stash is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the app constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the modified policy.
